Motivated by an obsession with dessert

I baked in kitchens from Martha's Vineyard to Wyoming before deciding I just had too many opinions about pastries to follow someone else's recipes.

Cookies should be chewy. Cakes should be frosted so they taste good first and look good second. Fondant never. Butter only. Cardamom before cinnamon. Swiss meringue buttercream is terrible. Piped cake decorations are boring.



The magic happens at Foundation Kitchen in Somerville, a shared commerical kitchen space.

You can find us slinging cookies and cake by the slice at Somerville Winter Famers’ Market, the Cambridge Winter Farmers’ Market, and soon at pop-ups at your favorite local businesses!
